Good Morning Prayer!

Good Morning Prayer

Over the years, I have noticed certain women ministers that I admire will start their day either reciting a certain Scripture or reminding themselves of who they are in Christ. An armor application, if you will. They are reminding themselves of their humanity and God’s soverignty. No matter what happens, Jesus is their strength, and is His Word will always be their guide. Not a bad idea, right?
So why not give this a whirl? It’s early Saturday morning and all my kiddos are asleep. I was so blessed by this exercise that I wanted to share it with you. And, of course, it’s in my nature to make it beautiful so that you can download the prayer.
It’s all Scripture.
It’s all Jesus.
Isaiah 55:11 says that God’s Word goes out from His mouth and will not return empty, but will accomplish what HE desires and will achieve the purpose for which He sent it. So if we PRAY His Word, EACH DAY, we are armored for all our circumstances! My goal is to pray this #morningprayer each morning. I pray, you too will be empowered to walk into YOUR day with confidence that you are a child of the King. He is with you, leading you. Always.
WITH His grace and love, Annie
P.S. I usually do not post on Saturday, but because my ART ROOM is so clean, it inspired me to be creative! Please let me know how this prayer affects you!

Michelle! Love that you are in South Africa. So can I say the prayer is international now? 🙂 Sorry that we did not catch up when you were in Jacksonville, but I know that you must have had such a wonderful time catching up with old friends! So, I guess that I just have to come see you!!! My first South African women’s conference!! What an idea!! Love to you!

Annie! I love this! Thank you for sharing this prayer, allowing me to pray as I read each word to the King! What a beautifully written piece that touched my heart this evening. I’d love to download this but would really like it framed like you have pictured for my kitchen so I can start my mornings off reading this prayer while the coffe is brewing and I start masking lunches before the hustle and bustle of little ones come downstairs. Love u! Emily 🙂

Sweet Emily! You have just given me an idea! Think I am going to Dollar Tree today to get a clear frame and will post a quick “how-to” frame this prayer. I told Winnie that she needed to read it this morning! 🙂 She was so “stressed.” Oh ~ to be in 6th grade! Love you and have been praying for your BSF leadership position. I was a leader for 7 years and the study remains one of my favorites. The women that you meet and the depth of the study is always a tremendous blessing. Love you, Em!

Annie sat here reading thinking oh how I need this. My oldest turned 28 today and he wasn’t in town for the first time for me to hug and say happy birthday. He is not in the best relationship not sure its a safe one either and I pray everyday for God to just let me know he is safe. I also have custody of my 6 year old granddaughter which means I have a first grader in the house so when I read this I thought oh how I need this. When my eyes open and I walk to the table with the first cup of coffee I think I am going to have it taped to the back of a placemat and cover it with clear packing tape so that water want mother it and I can just turn over the placemat and view it every morning. Thank you Annie

Mary Lou! I can only imagine my oldest begin 28 and not being able to give him a hug! I will pray for your strength and for your first grader! I think it’s a great idea to tape this to a placemat . . . and to your bathroom mirror . . . and while you are at it . . . maybe the refrigerator, too! 🙂 I love it! I just made one for my daughter who is 11. I will post the “how-to” today, just incase anyone wants to get creative over Labor Day. Might be a fun craft for you and your granddaughter! Mary Lou, I am praying for YOU! Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. 🙂
