02 Nov We are God's Masterpiece!

Have you ever had ONE of those days when you FEEL like everything seems to be falling apart?
In studying,”Lies Women Believe” by Nancy Leigh DeMoss, she says this:

• “The Enemy wants us to believe that if we FEEL unloved, we are unloved.  If we FEEL God has deserted us…then perhaps He has let us down.  If we FEEL our situation is hopeless, then there must be no hope.”
• “The truth is…when we allow our emotions to be tied to our circumstances – which are constantly changing- rather than tied to the unchangeable realities of GOD and His truth, our emotions are prone to fluctuate WILDLY!”

I love walking by this piece of artwork because when I FEEL like my life is JUNKY and chaotic –I remind myself  that GOD sees a beautiful, PURPOSEFUL picture!
Ephesians 2:10 tells us that:
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
God has GOOD things planned for us–don’t allow JUNKY feelings to get in the way of HIS MASTERPIECE!

• Go ahead…start collecting your junk from around the house! If you have kids, this is a great reminder of how fast they grow up and to remember the days when…
• Find an old window and start gluing the pieces on.
• “Float” photographs in the middle of the glass with heavy magnets.
