While googling ideas about SCRIPTURE JOURNALING, I came across an AMAZING website by a Mom, artist, and a believer in the Lord named Erin Leigh. I was stopped in my tracks because the FIRST journaling entry for her blog post was about how GOD is JEALOUS for us~ accompanied with a YouTube video of David Crowder singing “How He Loves Us.” This summer, I wrote my sixth summer study for tween girls called THE IN AND OUT CAFE~ JEALOUSY is NOT on the menu. We looked at Genesis 25 and 26 where we uncovered the true meaning of Jealousy and did LOTS of art projects that you can see on my Facebook ThouArtExalted page. This Bible Study will be available soon.

Sunday Inspiration: oh how he loves us
I like to use old hardback books for my journals.
First, I gesso the pages (either with a brush or a paper towel)
I gesso 5 to 10 pages at a time, separating them with wax paper,
letting some of the page show through.
I mix colors on the page with my fingers.
Then I add another layer of gesso for the letters.
And then I catch a climbing, paper-snatching monkey.
And more paint with my fingers.
And then I add paper and Sharpie and white gel pen.
Done for now .
